Planning and packing!

Love the look, pilgrim style!

She has a lot of "naked baby time"

A fun bonfire with friends. Eating dirt was a must.

Trying on a winter vest for Mara. A little big but she did not want that thing off.

Not sure what to make of those ducks after one "attacked" her. He really wanted her to let go of that piece of bread.

Future driver....2027! Unless she is like some Bohmans...

Ahhhh, I have to start her young.

Addicted to smoothies! Can you believe that was actually filled to the top?

Mesa Falls! Daddy/Daughter time. :)

Family Pic!

I have this great ability to close my eyes.

Dinner at Big Juds. 1lb burger split between three people. Yes, Lily did indeed help.

Followed by ice-cream. She showed everyone her dance moves afterward from of all that sugar!

Going to miss this place.

Mother's day gift from Lily.
So here we are, another big adventure is about to start for TeamDAsh! Does anyone know the story behind the name? It's a long one so I wont go and try to explain it. ;)

Anyways, in four days we will be leaving the good little college town of Rexburg, Idaho and driving down to Salt Lake City to spend a couple of days with Christen and her fam. and a few old friends. Then we get on a plane to Seattle and stay the next, and then the next day follows by us getting on a bus at 8am to Vancouver, BC for 6 hours....and finally, we board our ship for a fun and eventful cruise up the Inside Passage and Glacier Bay for 7 days! Since this is the first cruise of the season and, let's be honest, Southeast, AK isn't well-known for perfect weather in late May/early June, Norwegian got a little desperate so they lowered their prices way down. Just so happens that we saw it about a week ago and promptly called because the balcony stateroom was only $100 more than what we had initially paid for an inside stateroom (no window). We got the upgrade and we are stoked! Thanks, Southeast for having wonderful weather! ;) Plus, I'm so excited to not cook for 7 days, it's unbelievable! I can't wait to see whales from my balcony. I feel like Marlin when he is explaining to Cora, "They open their little eyes, and they see a WHALE!" Oh, perfection.

Also, we are really excited to see the fam up in AK. It'll be nice to spend the 9 days we have there since we really don't know when the next time our little nomadic selves are going to be there. Joining the Air Force, starting Med School, having a baby...so unpredictable...wait...no, it's not....it's rigid. Well, we'll have a nice house with extra beds in MD so I guess it's time for those Bohmans in AK to come out to the lower 48!

Lillian is also making leaps with her communication skills. I am awed at how well she talks and repeats a lot of words so clearly. She remembers and associates them pretty quickly. We have only talked about this little friend baby a couple of times, but today at Church Lily goes up to her and says her name like they were long-lost friends. Lily is sweet, sassy, stubborn, and smart...and she gives the best hugs and kisses and boy is she polite (southern blood); not sure what combination that creates for the future, but right now we are loving it and learning a heck of a lot ourselves. Toddlers are fun but oh so difficult. I'm glad she is my little Lily and I love her so much. I can't wait for her to be a big sister!
