October has been a great month, and has gone by so quickly.
- I had a fun baby shower put together by my mom, and a few wonderful ladies in my ward. It was such a special experience.
- Daniel and I carved pumpkins at the beginning of the month, but they are now frozen and moldy...
- Daniel and I hit the mid-term drag this month...great to spend time together, but not-so-great getting school assignments finished on time.
- I have read a total of 13 Young Adult Books for one of my classes...12 more to go.
- A wonderful friend of mine had her baby girl this month and she named her Scout after To Kill a Mockingbird, which I just finished reading for the first time in my life! I wonder why they didn't include that in our English curriculum since it's set in Alabama?
- We have had a couple of really cold nights, but I still sleep with the windows open.
- We went to an awesome straw maze.
- We put the car seat in the car!
Daniel and I are both so excited to see our little lady. I feel like I get to know her more and more each day as I feel her move around in me, and respond to our touches. Daniel likes to get up to my belly and "gently" move it and say, "Baby, why are you sleeping?" It's funny to watch her reaction, whether it be a kick or a bunch of kicks. We definitely get a "kick" out of it. I also like to read to her, and normally it's from the books that I'm reading for my classes, but we just got Goodnight Moon and The Hungry Caterpillar from a dear friend and professor on campus so I can start building a cool library for her. I'm excited for the time we get to spend together as a family bonding and growing together.
Pictures soonish :)
