Rexburg=newly wed home!

We're not there yet(one and a piece month left in AK), but we needed to go ahead and get a place to start our poor college lives together. It's a great deal, and Daniel and I are excited to make it our own.

                                                        (The view from the entrance)
                                                       (kitchen aka the galley!)
(another view of kitchen and bathroom)
(when you enter, there are stairs that lead up to a loft--our bedroom)
(bedroom-what is that pink thing in the corner?)
(that's right!!! It's a sink. This should be fun.)
Thanks to Sara and Becca for taking the pictures!(Bathroom)
By the way, any tips on decorating or what we can do with that really cool sink would be much appreciated!!!

The Roadshow of a Century!!!

Well, ladies and gents, friends and family, Harry Potter, here is the "best" out of the three performances. They were all great, but this one has better sound and since it was the last, the actors did a lot of improv.(So funny)!
Daniel and I had so much fun writing and directing this year's roadshow. Although we did not plan this, Daniel also got to play a role which helped in getting everyone pumped up. Hana did a wonderful job as our Elphaba and Grace was a great assistant director. We had so much help from the ward youth leaders and they got us out of sticky stuff towards the end.
For anyone about to do a 10 minute performance with two weeks notice, let us know and we would be glad to tell you, "Good Luck!"

A Disciple of Christ

This weekend I have been walking with a heavy heart. My dear beloved Mission President, who served over me in the Salt Lake City Temple Square Mission, passed away on Friday at the age of 71. "He slept and didnt wake up..." Sister Stewart said. The first thing I thought as I heard of his passing was, "They need him on the other side of the veil...there is much work for him to do."
As I have been pondering over our time together on the mission, I remember everything that I have learned from him; it is so much. I smile at some of them and cry at others because of the impact it has on my life.
Serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was a remarkable experience that I am truly grateful for; it prepared me for the eternities. I remember President Stewart saying that we are being prepared to be disciples of Christ forever! And we are to spread His Gospel to every nation, kindred tongue and people!
President Stewart loved the hymns of the Church and would often remind us to memorize as much as we could. We would sing our hearts out for him, because we knew that he loved it as much as we did. He often told us to sing a hymn when we are feeling down. Words truly cannot describe all the impact he has had on me.
I would write more, but I feel that I would go off on unrelated tangents. Suffice it to say that I am and always will be grateful to this Disciple of Christ.

Road...what?

Excellent pic by the way! ahahah *
So, Daniel and I have been asked, volunteered, selected, thrown into it, whatever you'd like to call it, to direct this year's ward roadshow.
My first response: "What's a roadshow?"
Basically, we get a lot of people together and perform a skit or play on a stage for 15 mins. Then travel to a different building and do the same thing for other people. We have to follow a theme, which can be anything from the strength of you pamphlet.http://lds.org/ldsorg/v/index.jsp?locale=0&sourceId=3f46be335dc20110VgnVCM100000176f620a____&vgnextoid=67852ce2b446c010VgnVCM1000004d82620aRCRD
Thanks, that's not broad! *
This should be fun, but getting a lot of people involved to participate so we dont carry the entire load will be the hard part.
We will try our best and, God willing, it will be the best roadshow i've ever seen! :)
