New things happening everywhere!

Since the little one is asleep, and I've done some of the packing for our visit to Palmer this weekend, I'd thought I would write a few words for the good ole memory.
Did I ever say that Lily loves people?  Well she does. I can't believe how social this girl is. She loves these two girls in our ward (Maja and Rosalie). She just can't get enough of them. She loves my cuddles and loves to fall asleep in my arms, she loves her dad doing crazy things with her like walking in the hiking backpack on bear trails, being hung upside down, and sitting on the back patio as the sun is floating in the west and listening to Dad talk to Grandpa!
Lillian turned 5 months on the 19th. I cherish these moments. We are blessed with a wonderful, beautiful daughter.
Here are a few milestone updates:
Lily is able to roll both ways
She can turn herself around
She is able to sit up unattended for a while. I still get nervous with this one, but she is doing great at balancing.
She is getting up on her hands and knees and rocks back and forth. (once she actually moved forward) Yikes!
She is a talker. The other day on the changing pad, she said "aaaaahahahahbllaaaaah blah, blah" as she was moving her head and shaking her hands.
She wants to eat everything! She grabs at everything and insists we put everything in her mouth! It seems she is almost ready for solids!

Lily and Daniel waiting for yummy burgers .

We love going to this burger joint in Homer, AK

I love this gal

Lily's way of giving kisses :)

She loves listening to Zoanne playing the accordian.

some macro and scenic pics while we were in Homer

Lily loved our walk on the beach she fell right to sleep.

This couple decided to get really close to this eagle, so we thought we should as well.

Ok, I was a little scared that the eagle might attack...

...so I asked daniel to take a pic in the car.

But when I decided to brave it and go out and take a close up, this is what happened. Attack of the eagles!

Our last month in the BIG house!

Well, it's May! The grass is starting to turn green, the ice is mostly melted on the lake and we have just a little bit of snow left on the ground. The past couple of weeks have been pretty warm (mid 40s-50s), HA! We have been able to enjoy the nice weather with a great visit to Anchorage/Palmer for Daniel's MCAT examination. Lily and I spent the day with some friends shopping and having a really good time. It was then that I discovered how much she really loves to look at everything, especially people. She is like those little old ladies who sit on the park bench and watch people go by, except Lily wants to reach out and touch them and she always has a smile waiting for strangers. We have some dear friends that we visit a couple of times a week and Lily loves spending time with the two girls; she just lights up when they play with her.
Lily can now roll from her tummy to her back. I will put her on her tummy for a nap, and after I go in to get her when she's awake, I will find that she has not only turned from facing one direction but she is on her back grabbing those feet or letting her feet scale the side of the pack n play. She's just cooing and grunting away; it's pretty sweet. She has also struck up a chord when it comes to conversation. She is a talker. Often, I can't carry on a conversation on the phone or with someone in person because Lily's got to put in her two sense very loudly. My favorite is when she goes, "AAAAHHHBLLAAAH......EEEEEEHHHH Hey!"
"I'm quite ready for another adventure." -Bilbo Baggins/Lillian Bohman

shopping with Mom wears me out.

Daniel celebrating the end of his detox diet with Little Miller's milk shake! Yum, Yum.

On our way back to Kenai; had to pull over for the little one. But we enjoyed the scenery.

We measured 3 weeks ago and she was 26 inches long!

She is sooo happy around her dad.

Thug Lily: "Get this full diaper off me, fool!"

She went from asleep on the tummy to awake on the back.

Such bright eyes.

She is starting to really like the Exercaucer. She will repeatedly attack that little plush flag. It's so funny to watch.

Closing her eyes for a pic, just like Mom.

Cute, chubby legs!
Since Lily is about to turn five months, she is starting to hit those milestones like crazy. She can sit up throughout my reading of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar,"and she is starting to do some serious walking in her jumper. She loves being outdoors. We visited Homer, AK last weekend and she loved every minute. I did too! I love coastal towns; I was totally in my element. Lily especially loved the hands-on section of the Islands and Oceans Museum. She is such a fun gal. I love every minute with her. I love when she wants to lick everything and I love watching her get so happy when she attacks the nursing cover; these are moments that are so fun and so special!
